We help everyone from middle schoolers looking to do a year abroad in high school to people looking for post-docs. However, the majority of the people we work with fall into one or more of the following categories:
They Are Passionate About the World
Maybe they want to be doctors in developing countries. Maybe they want to work as a diplomat. Maybe they want to be a teacher who can share vacation photos in their lectures. Or maybe they just love foreign cultures and think that a great life involves exposure to them. No matter what, these are people who value global perspectives.
They Are Passionate About Their Studies
University abroad means being passionate about what you study and knowing that, at least while you’re in class or reviewing, that’s your priority. You’re ready to have a lot of fun with your classmates, but you won’t mind if a Friday night out becomes a discussion about what you learned in class on Wednesday.
They Don’t Like Playing Games
American admissions at elite universities is about any number of factors, with academics a first among equals at best. When going abroad, universities value smart people who are passionate about their fields of study. You won’t have to worry about extracurricular activities, family legacies, or anything like that.
They Want to Save Money
Going abroad can saves tens of thousands of dollars, especially if you’re from a state where in-state tuition is high. It can also save money on living expenses. The people we work with are definitely money-smart.
